The five-star hotel is located in the heart of Jakarta and in 2000, Harjaguna was appointed to revitalize its Grand Ballroom. Because the Grand Ballroom had to be closed off during the renovation, the project team faced a remarkable challenge, as the 702-square-meter ballroom along with its pre-function area had to be reopened in one month.

Upon completing the work on the Grand Ballroom, Harjaguna was then retained to renew the hotel’s meeting rooms.

The client was impressed with how Harjaguna handled the project and how the team overcame challenges and obstacles, such that they trusted Harjaguna to deliver their other projects such as C’s Steak and Seafood Restaurant, Grand Café, La Moda Restaurant, and eX Plaza Indonesia Extension.

This was the first time Harjaguna completed a project for a five-star hotel and it proved to be an invaluable learning experience as it paved the way for Harjaguna’s continual involvements in other five-star hotel projects.
