As an effort to recover from damages caused by the floods in 2002, the public spaces located on the lower levels of the hotel had to be rehabilitated. For this project, Harjaguna renewed the existing 980-square-metre ballroom along with its prefunction space, upgraded the meeting rooms, VIP rooms, and fitness centre, refinished the back of house and the spa. The six-month schedule was certainly challenging but thanks to Harjaguna’s previous similar experiences, the project was completed in a timely manner.
